The Toggle Board was designed with people who don’t like necklaces but are finger chewers and suckers.
A common stim and habit people wish to redirect is sucking and chewing fingers. And this is how this product came about. We wanted to replicate the length and feel of a finger, but without it looking like a finger and I think we nailed it! Inspiration was combined with a mix of surf and skateboards. Another need we had fed back was for chewers who like to chew with their molars, some product shapes make reaching the molars a challenge, and this product works for that style of chewing too. However, not everyone wanted this on a pendant cord so we teamed it with a simple multifunctional strap that can work on zippers, school bags, keys and buttonholes.

Once damaged, Chewigem should be discarded and replaced.
All products through chewing will eventually show signs of wear and tear. How long that depends on a variety of factors and it can take time to find the right product for you.
As a general guide, refer to the lifespan tables for an indication of longevity.

How to care for a Chewigem without a cord (e.g. Fidgets, handhelds & bangles)

Chewigem’s with a cord (e.g. pendants, Toggles & necklaces)
With the cord on you can wash your Chewigem’s:
with the cord removed:
By removing the cord the silicone section can be washed in the same way as a cordless product above.
Parts of the toggle strap are plastic and cannot cope with high heat and risks melting which is why we suggest the cord be removed.
This is simple, just unloop from the board. Once washed, reverse the process, reattach the cord, slide the clasp down onto the cord, tie a knot at the end and slide the clasp back up over the knot.
