This is Not Just Another COVID19 Statement. I know it seems like every two minutes your email pings with another company updating me on their coronavirus actions. It’s no wonder, this is an unprecedented time and causing people a lot of anxiety.
We know our services are vital to those in our community and wanted to reassure you it is business as usual here and explain the steps we have taken to put your mind at ease, plus provide you with some useful resources during this difficult time.
As most of you will be aware, Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called Coronavirus.
We wanted to let you know what we’re doing to make sure we can keep you as safe as possible.
During these uncertain times, we completely understand that this is affecting us all, at home, at work, with family, and with friends. We are committed to combating the spread of this virus and are supporting the health and well-being of our staff and our customers.
GOOD NEWS!
Chewigem’s can be washed and sterilised. We always recommend washing them before first use anyway, no change there! Check the video for the best way to do this!
The government is advising we don’t put our fingers in our mouths. Chewigem can help with this. As chewers will chew, with a Chewigem they can chew, and the Chewigem can be cleaned!
All our current stock was produced no later than November 2019 so has had no exposure to the virus and has been stored in sealed packages.
Our warehouse staff are all fit and healthy and if there are any signs of illness they will follow the guidelines to self-isolate, we will sterilise their work area and replace them temporarily with healthy members of staff from other departments
Our warehouse staff are wearing latex-free gloves for handling all packing requirements and wiping down their packing area at the start and end of each day.
WHAT ELSE ARE WE DOING?
In our office and warehouse, we sanitise all of our work areas twice daily.
Our staff mostly work remotely but regardless of whether they are home or office-based we are ensuring that they monitor their own health and well being careful to ensure they self-isolate and do not go into work if they feel even slightly unwell.
We don’t allow walk-in enquiries, therefore we know exactly who is coming in and out of our offices on a daily basis and can ensure that we sanitise everything.
Any of our staff that have been on holiday recently, have checked with the latest government information and will quarantine if necessary and recommended.
