The disk shaped design has been formulated to remove weak points and allow a more densely packed solid form making this perfect for those of us who love working hard to break through a Sensory Chew.
The specially formulated food-grade silicon compound is the magic that makes the Button Pendant tough but safe. Silicon science has allowed us to create this incredibly compacted Sensory Chew without adding any harmful substances.
This means that if after multiple weeks of ‘aggressive chews’ you eventually do find a way to pierce the highly polished Button Pendant surface, you can relax. As well as being perfectly safe to swallow you can give yourself a pat on the back, getting through this Sensory Chew takes dedication and super strength chompers.

Once damaged, Chewigem should be discarded and replaced.
All products through chewing will eventually show signs of wear and tear. How long that depends on a variety of factors and it can take time to find the right product for you.
As a general guide, refer to the lifespan tables for an indication of longevity.

How to care for a Chewigem without a cord (e.g. Fidgets, handhelds & bangles)
You can wash these using any of the below options:
Chewigem’s with a cord (e.g. pendants & necklaces)
With the cord on you can wash your Chewigem’s:
with the cord removed:
By removing the cord the silicone section can be washed in the same way as a cordless product above.
The clasp on the cords is plastic and cannot cope with high heat and risks melting which is why we suggest the cord be removed.
This is simple, snap the breakaway clasp apart, pull the clasp back down the cord to reveal the knot, untie the knot and slide the clasp off this should allow you to take the cord off the pendant. Once washed, reverse the process, reattach the cord, slide the clasp down onto the cord, tie a knot at the end and slide the clasp back up over the knot.

Absolutely for the firm chewers out there.
Our daughter can chew throw most items in an hour, this amazing button is holding up against our little nibbler! (Were weeks on!!)

My son really enjoys this chew. He’s a hard chewer and this is standing up well. It’s a little harder/firmer than he’d usually have but works really well.

This is genuinely the only chewie that my son has not been able to get through, its stood the test to date. He even gets fed up that he’s not getting through and moves on after a while.

I bought for myself from Amazon and have NOT been disappointed with either service or product. I bought a pendant chew and have used it increasingly since my purchase. It saves chewing other items such as pen tops or nails. I do not chew hard but have found this a firm and resilient product, very useful and supportive. I am over 50 and thus careful and gentle on the chew, conscious of costs. Great value, a lovely shape and worth every penny. Autistic adults will, I am sure, benefit from this. I intend to buy more to give a variety to shape within the mouth.
